The Birdworld Photography Competition 2026 is here, a creative collaboration between Birdworld and Kiln Photo that celebrates the beauty, character, and unexpected moments found within this one-of-a-kind environment.
Running from 1st July to 31st August, this is your chance to turn your lens toward the vibrant life of Birdworld and possibly walk away with a Birdworld family ticket!
Important: All photographs must be taken at Birdworld during the competition period. It’s all about capturing the magic of this unique setting, its birds, its spaces, and the moments that happen there.
Whether you’re shooting on a high-end digital camera, experimenting with film, or snapping brilliant moments on your smartphone, all photographic styles are welcome. Feeling experimental? Alternative processes like cyanotype and creative printing techniques are encouraged too, as long as the original image is photographically created.
A panel of judges from Kiln Photo will select the standout entries, and winning images will be proudly displayed in a public exhibition at Birdworld, giving your work the spotlight it deserves.
