As the countdown to the official launch of its multi-million-pound redevelopment takes flight, Birdworld has unveiled its eagerly anticipated new website and branding – including the first full redesign of its logo since 1968.

The beloved family attraction – soon to be transformed into a year-round destination – has a bold new identity rooted in nature, playfulness, and discovery.

At the heart of the rebrand is Birdworld’s new strapline: Naturally Playful – a nod to its new collection of nature-inspired interactive experiences, designed to spark joy in visitors young and old by celebrating the magic of nature.

Through an enchanting forest concept, families will have opportunities to learn and play throughout the Park, including an indoor 17,000 sq ft café and play area – a colourful, weatherproof space for younger children, making it the largest indoor play zone in the region.

Outdoors, Birdworld’s Adventure Play will blend seamlessly with the natural landscape, using the woodland to create an immersive environment amongst the trees. Featuring bird nest towers, connecting bridges, and a spiral clamber net, the area will let children explore as if they were part of the woodland. The magical ‘Spriglet Village’ will also include accessible pathways at varying heights, ensuring a welcoming space for all abilities.

To complement the Park’s new Naturally Playful ethos, Birdworld has introduced its first full logo change since it first opened its doors in 1968.

Although there have been variations of its famous cockatoo logo over the years, the new look features a vibrant colour palette with illustrations at encapsulates what Birdworld has to offer. This includes Nature, Adventure, Feathers and Play, bringing together all four icons in uninson against bold and confident typography.

With no stone left unturned, the launch of Birdworld’s new and improved website offers an improved visitor experience, a new blog and a more streamlined approach to buying tickets.

“Birdworld is set to be a place of wonder and learning for all families, and we wanted to reflect this in our new branding and website,” says Woodies Wheeler-Bennet, Marketing Manager at Birdworld.

“Our updated identity perfectly aligns with Birdworld’s values: family comes first, fun is for everyone, and nature is the best teacher. We’re proud of our Haskins heritage and are committed to creating enriching, safe spaces where families can connect, learn, and explore together. From encouraging discovery to supporting conservation – Naturally Playful is a promise we’re thrilled to bring to life.”
