Following the latest announcement from DEFRA, enhanced biosecurity and housing measures are now in place across England to help protect birds from Avian Influenza (bird flu).
Birdworld remains open as usual, and all of our birds are being carefully protected following all guidance and additional measures specifically for our collection. Some birds may be temporarily housed indoors, and certain walkthrough areas may close if the situation develops further, thank you for understanding.
To help keep our birds safe, we kindly ask all visitors to:
- Use the foot dips provided at the entrance before entering the park.
- Follow any additional guidance or signage around the site.
- Avoid direct contact with any wild birds prior and during your visit, using our wash points as you navigate the park
These steps are vital in preventing the spread of disease and ensuring the welfare of the birds in our care.
