Autumn Park News
We are sad to see summer has ended but the work doesn’t stop for us here at Birdworld. There is still lots going on behind the scenes to prepare for the upcoming holidays and winter season.
Our African penguins are now incubating a second batch of eggs and also of note, the Bali Starlings have successfully fledged one chick and are now sitting on another clutch of eggs. Many other birds are still busy with eggs and offspring around the rest of the park.
Elsewhere at Birdworld, Temperate House has been cleared out in preparation for the Halloween and Christmas Grotto. Supporting this, the marquee has been also been constructed on the restaurant patio. The grounds team are working hard around the park ensuring the site is ready for the winter months including mowing the lawns for the very last time this year!
